Coach KJ Abair

GLASS CITY VOLLEYBALL COACH FOR TEAMS: 14-3 AND NORTHWEST OHIO JUNIORS LEAGUE HIGH SCHOOL TEAM

KJ ABAIR has played volleyball for 10 years. Not only has KJ been a player but she has experience coaching and refereeing as well. She coached the Northwest Ohio Juniors League High School Volleyball Team last year for Glass City, refereed volleyball for four years and has been a line judged at Delta High School for 10 years.  She has also helped the Delta coaches out at practice for past 5 years and helped the Northwood coaches out for past two years.

In addition to volleyball experience, she also coaches soccer. She has lead the Delta soccer program for the past five years which included rebuilding the program. She has coached travel and recreational soccer. Currently, she is coaching BU15 soccer and BU10 travel soccer now.

KJ loves teaching and making younger athletes better at the game they love to play.  She believes teaching them the long goal about sportsmanship, about how to win, and how to lose.  She also believes if you lose, you use it as a learning experience what you did wrong and fix it for next time.  She loves to have fun and play a lot of game activities where it makes the kids have more fun, so they don’t always dread going to practice.
