Coach Jen Leach

GLASS CITY VOLLEYBALL COACH FOR: JACKSON TEAM AND THE JACKSON ADMINISTRATOR 

JEN LEACH is currently the assistant volleyball coach at Vandercook Lake (VCL) High School in Jackson, MI. Before coming to VCL, she was a junior varsity volleyball coach at Summerfield High School for seven seasons. Prior to that, she coached the 7th grade volleyball team for one season at Summerfield Junior High School. During those eight years she also coached eight seasons of club volleyball for Premier, Huron Valley Volleyball Club, and Glass City. Her responsibility also included launching and running a youth volleyball league for grades 2nd-6th in Monroe/Lenewee County for six years and currently in Jackson County.

She played volleyball, softball, and tennis at Ypsilanti High School and after high school graduation she played volleyball and softball at Siena Heights University. She then transferred to play softball at Eastern Michigan University where she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Consumer Affairs.

Jen’s coaching philosophy: Success is a journey and not a destination. Therefore, she is always open to innovative and new ideas while combining past experiences to provide guidance to my athletes. She believes enthusiasm and a positive attitude is everything!
