Coach Jeff Taylor
JEFF TAYLOR is a graduate of Clay H.S. in Oregon, Ohio and has played multiple sports his entire life. He has coached many teams over the past 20 years, including soccer, baseball, basketball, and travel softball. He has worked with children since being hired by the Oregon Recreation dept. when he was 14 and started to coach and referee. Jeff continued to work with students as he pursued his teaching degree at the University of Toledo, joined the U.S. Marine Corps, and continued to be an OHSAA basketball official for over 18 years.
Coach Taylor is married to his loving and supportive wife, Michelle, for 21 years and they have 3 children together. As his children became more involved in sports, Jeff volunteered to coach all of their teams. Over the years, he has coached over 60 teams for his children, including high school and summer AAU basketball teams, but most recently as a travel softball coach the last few seasons. He is extremely dedicated to his family, his players, and his sense of integrity. He is looking forward to working with players that are willing to give their best effort, commit to being a good teammate, and have a desire to improve their basketball skills.
